Upon deregulation of the telecom industry, responsibility of the internal cabling infrastructure of a building shifted from the phone company to the building owner. Property managers and building owners quickly realized the management of such infrastructure needed to be handled by industry professionals.

Riser Management is a plan developed for each individual property owner/manager based on the needs and requirements of the building(s). The plan can be as simple as auditing the existing infrastructure and providing a comprehensive plan for keeping the risers secure, or as detailed as developing a web-based system that allows for daily interaction on current riser conditions. All of our programs include dedicated Service Technicians, and Customer Service Reps, as well as a call center designed specifically for Riser Management based inquiries. Once the closet in a building is audited, it is locked down to prevent other companies, not familiar with building standards, from accessing them. HCT then assumes control of the closet and is responsible for making sure it has adequate infrastructure available to handle the upcoming needs for the property manager and tenants of the building.
